Page Analytics

When someone opens a published Cerac page, Cerac records first-party Page Analytics for the page owner (the Creator). This includes:

  • Visits (page loads)
  • Approximate unique visitors within a day (cookieless; not a durable identity)
  • Referring website hostnames when available, otherwise Direct
  • Outbound link clicks on interactive blocks (for example Text links and Social Links)
  • A separate count of known automated bot visits

Collection uses a small deferred script on the published page so analytics do not block showing the page. Cerac does not place a third-party analytics script on published pages, and does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors across days or pages.

Raw request details used to build a day's totals (such as IP-derived hashes for uniqueness and user-agent checks for bots) are kept only briefly. Daily aggregate totals are retained so Creators can review history.

Published pages do not show a tracking consent banner. Page Analytics are visible only to the Creator who owns the page.

Accounts

If you create an account, Cerac stores the account details needed to run the product (such as your email and username) through our authentication provider.
